Hen Aelwyd Yr Urdd was originally built over a hundred years ago and has been sympathetically converted to offer accommodation for up to 2 people; a haven for couples looking to get away from it all. Much of its original character has been preserved through exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace and an open fire. There is parking available, and some local amenities are only a short walk away. The cottage is perfectly situated for access to other attractions, such as the North-West Welsh coast and nearby caves.

Electricity & starter pack of fuel for multi fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Complimentary bottle of wine provided. Roadside parking available 50 yards from property (can park outside cottage to unload only). Rear gravelled area with table & chairs. Two well behaved dogs welcome (please bring own dog beds & towels). Sorry no smoking. Village shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Property is opposite a small, quiet local authority storage yard, which is well-kept and well screened from view. Note: Shower is over a bath but due to hot water tank capacity showers only are advisable. Note: Babes-in-arms only.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Property feedback
Great little cottage in a good location. It had everything we needed, and it was good that they accepted 2 dogs, which a lot of properties don't. Lovely welcome gifts from the owners and the wood burning stove was wonderful.

,The cottage was very cosy. We had some wild weather but we felt very snug, not just because of the lovely multi-fuel stove but also because of the comfortable furnishings and warm colour schemes.
